The Pencil~

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Life sometime's is about analogy. You can relate anything with life. And one of the best and inspiring analogy I found was about a pencil.

----------

In the beginning, the pencil maker spoke to the pencil,

"There are 5 things you need to know before I send you into the world. Always remember them and you will become the BEST pencil you can be."

First,
You will be able to do many great things, but ONLY if you allow yourself to held in someone's hand.

Second,
you will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but this is required for you to become a more better pencil.

Third,
You have the ability to correct any mistakes that you make.

Fourth,
the most important part of you will always be what's inside.

Fifth,
no matter what the condition, you must continue to write and serve your master. You must always leave clear, legible mark no matter how difficult the situation is.

The pencil understood, promising to remember, and went into the box fully understanding it's maker's purpose.

But now, we can always replace the pencil with us, ourselves. It's relevant and if we can remember these five things, insya Allah, we can become the best person ever.

First,
You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in God's hand and allow other people to access you for the many gifts you possess.

Second,
You will experience painful times that will make you suffer emotionally, physically and mentally, by going through various problems, but you will need them to become a more stronger person.

Third,
You will make mistakes through out this journey, but you are able to correct them. And you can make better life from your mistakes.

Fourth,
The most important part of you will always be what's inside you. If its good and clean, so will you whole body, and that goes vise versa.

Fifth,
On every surface you walk, you must leave a mark showing you contributed to something. And no matter what the situation is, you must continue to serve God in everything.

Hence, when we die, we will not just become a useless pencil that does not serve for the maker's purpose but we hope that we are of some use through out this long journey. May Allah give us wisdom and strength to be a better Muslim. Ameen.

Wallahu'alam
