Theodolite~

A theodolite is an instrument for measuring both horizontal and vertical angles, as used in triangulations networks. It is a key tool in surveying and engineering work, particularly on inaccessible grounds, but theodolites have been adapted for other specialized purposes in fields like meteorology and rocket launch technology. A modern theodolite consists of a telescope mounted movably within two perpendicular axes, the horizontal or trunnion axis, and the vertical axis. When the telescope is pointed at a desired object, the angle of each of these axes can be measured with great precision, typically on the scale of arcseconds.

So, this is a theodolite, though not the same one that I "played" with yesterday. HohO~ Semalam, I had a field class, di mana kitorg kena how to set up a theodolite. Pekh...Lecturer saya, Dr. Baharain cakap, nak pasang theodolite nieh, kena berhati-hati sangat. Must handle with care, sebab, satu bende alah nie, harga dia RM6,000. Pekh....sekali mau jatuh, memang habis terus duit scholar. So, bile dah habis kena briefing cm ne nak pasang, terus ngn semangatnyer, kitorg (my team laa) pi cari port n pasang bende alah nie. At first cm agak susah, sekali bile ade brader sorg nieh dia datang kat kitorg, dia ajar teknik simple yet efficient nak pasang menantang nieh. Memang simple gle r, pastu cepat plak tuh. Dah la cepat, pastu tepat lak tuh. Memang bagus r brader tuh. Pastu bile dia suruh kitorg pasang lak, at first memang agak jakun r, nak pasang sana, pasang sini memang penuh dengan bunyi. HohO~ tapi tak sangka lak it only took us 10 minutes to finish it. Laju Wooo~ sebab Dr. Baharian cakap, for amateurs, nak pasang bende alah nie will take around 30 minutes to 1 hour. WooW~ lame tuh. So, kitorg nie kre memang team mantap r. So, ingat nak test lagi sekali, this time, bdak2 gurls semangat nak try with out my help, so bagi la diorg chance. pasang punya pasang, akhir nyer siap but in 15 minutes. Tapi depa kire cm suke gile r dapat pasang the theodolite ngn mantap nyer. Hahaha~ So, bile Dr. Baharain datang kat kitorg, cek sana cek sini, dia kata "Bagus, bagus. Sekejap je dah pandai pasang.Sape ketua?" hehe...pastu mesti la sume jawab "ASIM!!" well, I am the only bettle amongs flowers, so, Arrijal lu Qauwamunn 'alannisa'...hehe...

So, tu la dier cite first day of field class. Memang best r dapat blajar bende baru n gune bende yang tak pernah gune. Dulu duk kutuk orang pakai menatang nieh, skali kena pakai lak. hahaha~ okeh, thats it from me. Wassalam.
